CINNAMON QUANDARY…
ON THE MORNING OF AUGUST 29th, as usual Duane was making breakfast! (God is good!) We had decided on scrambled eggs, sausage, and cinnamon rolls. I like the small ones with lots of that delicious icing. My idea: that’s what I wanted…
But at one point the day before he had something negative about my favorite and spoke of the big ones he much preferred. Well, this took pleasure out of it for me. Now remember: I have the mind of Christ! So I wisely said, “Let’s get both! Herbie would love the leftovers!”

Naturally, Duane didn’t like the idea…
at first.
But he did succumb and we both enjoyed what we both truly wanted: cinnamon rolls!
It’s not a big deal to have leftover cinnamon rolls we both don’t need. But it is great fun to have something we love and rarely ever have!!
AND: Herbie and Company (the other squirrels) will truly enjoy the leftovers!
LESSON:
Sometimes husbands and wives can both have their ways… Sometimes they can’t. Choose your resolutions lovingly and celebrate the differences that bring no harm!
