Yesterday the underground sprinklers were on in the front yard… The ones sprinkling were right up to my huge living room window (the other sprinklers come on later.)
I have always loved those underground sprinklers! They remind of before the flood found in Genesis Six when the water didn’t come down from Heaven before the flood, but came up out of the ground.

Interesting and enlightening to think about often.

Yesterday I saw another beautiful sight! A robin! He was standing right by a sprinkler, enjoying getting a cool, refreshing sprinkling for himself! He was (and is) absolutely adorable! He saw me watching. I always wave and blow kisses at my birds, squirrels, bunnies, opossums (maybe not the coyote, I don’t want him feeling welcome.)
I absolutely believe they love this!
Shortly after Robin’s shower he hopped into our evergreen, enjoying a little pool of water in the mud.
I love him so!
God takes delight in our delight over His beautiful and precious creations! He does! Delight yourself in the Lord and all the things He loves!
P.S. (past sin!)
I’m in my office and I can hear my birdies singing now! It’s 6:36 a.m.
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS JOY STORY:
Genesis 1:20-23
And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
Psalm 50:11
I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine.
Matthew 6:26-27
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
