Don’t believe I should be thanking my God for these waves of sorrow?
Prove me wrong…
Like so many thousands of people, (and maybe more) I heard of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Was I shocked? No. Was I surprised? No.
Every mature Christian must know that we risk our lives daily; just as the great the Apostle Paul said.
1 Corinthians 15:31
I face death every day—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Selah.
He also said:
Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Was I grieved? Of course! What a stupid question!!
However, our love for God must eternally be unyielding. Our love for ourselves and others must align with His Word: the Bible.
Selah.
God adjures us to line up our spiritual obedience with His will…
Matthew 22:35-40
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Charlie Kirk and family (the family of God, His children) are not supposed to love life on Earth so much as to shrink from death.
Selah.
Death, being the final enemy, is defeated when, no matter how we die, we children of God, die in covenant with the only true and living God: the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob / the God of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
My waves of sorrow came because I love Charlie, I love his wife, I love his children, his entire family. And what may be shocking to those who hate him and the rest of us like him… I love his enemies (They are God’s too! And mine: and He loves them!)
These precious waves prove to me that God has truly shed His love in my heart and every heart who is in covenant with our precious LORD God Almighty!
Romans 5:1-6
Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. And not only [that], but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance; and endurance, experience; and experience, hope; and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by [the] Holy Spirit which has been given to us: for we being still without strength, in [the] due time Christ has died for [the] ungodly.
Selah.
Charlie Kirk has (not had – because he is alive in Heaven forevermore, amen!) convinced me from his lifestyle, words, proclamations, actions – He is a child of God and he therefore is now ruling and reigning with Christ Jesus:
2 Timothy 2:8-13
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.
Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him, we will also live with him;
if we endure, we will also reign with him.
If we disown him, he will also disown us;
if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
Revelation 3:21
To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
I didn’t know my brother Charlie Kirk personally. I will in the future. I do know I believe his testimony!
Selah.
Because I have not yet fellowshipped with him, I didn’t shed a tear for him. His death was evil (as all death is.) But I am confident Charlie would never have stopped his mission for Christ! That is love for God and man!!
As certain as I know God is real, and who God is, I am certain I will see Charlie in Heaven.
This is what I pray for all of you alive on Earth now: that I will love you and get to know you in Heaven because you, too, are a child of God.
Selah.
AND TO ALL OF CHARLIE’S ENEMIES: I have no doubt he still wants you there with God his Father and him. I know I do!
WITH THOSE WAVES OF SORROW…
I honor and praise our God because He has put love in our hearts (those of us who truly do love Him!) to will and act as what pleases Him: first and foremost!
We are to love mankind and hate evil. Beloved, because God Almighty sent Jesus to be our sin replacement and none of the Godhead wants any person perishing in their sins, we don’t either. Simply said: if any person claiming love for the only true God does want this, does want people going to Hell, simply said again, they couldn’t possibly be a child of God; they are on the path to damnation…
Selah.
Yes, I thank God I grieve not only for Charlie Kirk’s family missing his physical presence, suffering anguish due to this separation (notice I said ‘separation’ and not ‘loss’) I am confident they all know he’s with the King of kings and LORD of lords; I grieve also for every sinner headed for Hell.
Daily I pray for the unclean, the evildoers, the wicked, (in other words, the godless) to come to Christ Jesus and be assured of their eternal privilege God has secured for them, a place in Heaven!
Selah.
Herewith are God’s holy writings affirming the truth of godly victory and sorrow:
Matthew 5:43-45
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Romans 12:9-21
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 1Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 1If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
On the contrary:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
2 Corinthians 7:10
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
ATTENTION: below is one of my most loving and unparalleled works I do for those of you who now hate God and His blessed children. Don’t delay, answer His invitation! Tomorrow is not promised to you!
Selah.
Dear God,
I surrender to you now, right now. I am done in trying to invent a working lifestyle without you. I humble myself and call out to You. I’m done with lying, with pretending, and explaining away ungodliness…
Romans 1:18-21
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
God in Heaven,
I come to You in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus. I have sinned. I now believe and know that Jesus is fully God, fully Man. He lived a sinless life and took all of my sickness and infirmities in His body. He died on the cross for my sins. I believe and know that He was raised from the dead so I might be saved from Hell and have eternal life in Your Kingdom with you forevermore.
Jesus, I ask you to be my only Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins and wash them away with Your holy blood; never to be remembered again. Please take my sickness or any health issue I have by the stripes You endured for all mankind…
I will now strive to live my life for You to my best ability and with the help of You, Holy Spirit, I strive to seek You, study You and worship You all the days of my life, which are forever, amen!
I denounce Satan and his kingdom now and forevermore!
I also ask to be baptized in You, Holy Spirit, with the evidence of this by praying in other tongues, my heavenly language.
(To receive your heavenly language – take it by faith – just as you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Simply start speaking syllables – do not say anything in your known language/s. It WILL come – just believe. Satan will tell you it is false – never listen to the father of lies. Pray in tongues every day!)
Thank You, God, for forgiving me, cleansing me, healing me in every way, staying with me and praying with me.
In Jesus name, I pray this, amen.
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS:
Romans 3:21-26
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Philippians 2:12-13
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Romans 10:9-10
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
1 Corinthians 14:2
For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED! You must continue your relationship as a child of God!
Live this way:
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Hebrews 3:14
We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.
Revelation 3:5
He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
