THREE GOOD THINGS!
I DON’T USUALLY POST ON SATURDAYS…
but this is so good I just have to share it!
Today, right now, it is Saturday June 21, 2025, 7:51 AM. It looks like rain big time this morning.
I just came in from changing the water for our two bird baths.
The first good thing I saw was a black corvette! It was beautiful!! This one was not a convertible; it looked shiny and brand new. I cheered!
Here in Minnesota the MSRA (the Minnesota Street Rod Association ) has been and will be celebrating classic cars since yesterday and up until tomorrow. A lot of gorgeous cars! (I’m always amazed that yes, to me, cars can be gorgeous)! My very classic car is a 1956 (happens to be my birth year) red, convertible corvette! I go gaga over them! I used to have a job nearby my home. There were many windows so I had excellent views and looked out to see the cars as much as I could while still dutifully performing my tasks (after all, I am a Christian every moment and never stole from any employer: time, money, or supplies.)
So, after this first great sighting, next as I started the hose (with a spray that easily shoots out old water and tree poop that fell into the bird bath) I saw Herbie (one of my favorite squirrels) run more quickly down the tree and hurriedly across the street! I knew right away he accidently (truly accidently) got sprayed! The power of the spray in no way hurt him… He was far enough away. But I told him it was truly an accident; I didn’t have to be sorry and that after he got over the small shock (squirrels are tough) the water did feel good!
NOTE: if you’ve read more about me you know I love and feed squirrels! In fact, my first book, JOY STORIES, VOLUME ONE, has a terrific and true story about him. It’s entitled, HERBIE IN THE GARAGE… A SQUIRREL TALE!
So on to my ‘last’ good thing! (They’re always coming!) As I was on my way back into the house after one of my most fun times filling the two bird baths back up, Charlotte was on the grass in the back near the garage. It’s humid already today. She was all stretched out and comfy… I just had to go over and talk to her. She trusts me to a point! I told her first not to worry, Tina wasn’t with me. She stayed. I told her how I loved her, how beautiful she is, and how I had a Dutch Bunny when I was younger (from ten years old to eighteen.) Jenny her name and she lived a long time. But I had her in a cage so I was telling Charlotte how wonderful it is for her to be outside; and how I’d never have a caged pet again.
I first talked to her a little away from the steps; I decided to move to the truck (a BIG truck!) on her far side so I could see her much closer, confident she’d stay. She did!
I told her how stupid people are that they think they can keep rabbits out of their yard (like my neighbor) and how God created bunnies and loves them! How beautiful they are! And, that the deserve to live too!
Then I went to share these three great experiences with y‘all!
Beloved: look for the beauty of God’s creations and love what He loves!
And: follow me as I follow Christ!
I celebrate my life
I cherish every day
I choose to be a blessing to You
And when I bow my head
demons shriek with dread
they know I am speaking with You
You have ransomed me from my enemy, τοῦ πονηροῦ
You are the LORD God Almighty
I bind my heart to You
You are holy, holy, holy,
Son of God and Man
Alpha and Omega
Coming King
I AM
As I choose my path
I firmly stand the ground
You have hallowed for me
I will not shrink back
I will not be destroyed
by the darts of my enemy
Satan, you are defeated and you are filled with wrath
I praise You God Almighty he knows his time is short
Spirit You’re worthy of honor
Father my Ancient of Days
No weapon formed against me can end my endless praise
You are Father, Spirit, Son
God, my Three in One
Blessed that I am
For Your bled for me, my Lamb
I celebrate my life
I cherish every day
I choose to be a blessing to You
Son of God
Son of Man
Coming King
Great I AM
I know I am a blessing to You
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
