TO SOME OF US when God does not tell us things?!
Selah.
Why are some of us so very arrogant that we think we just have to know what God Almighty has chosen not to tell us?!
Today I am once again thinking about the book of Hebrews: a book God wrote. Yes! God wrote the Bible and He used men to breathe through it. The Bible is His teaching, not ours!
Selah.
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.
2 Peter 1:20-21
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
See: the Bible is not the word of men; it is the word of God! Prophecy never had its origin the will of man! Men spoke from (I repeat: from God) as they carried along by the Holy Spirit who is God! God breathed His words, His Scriptures, through men in order to rebuke, correct, train us all in righteousness so we are equipped for every good work!
Selah.
God wrote the Bible!
So when laity, theologians, missionaries, prophets of today, evangelists, and pastors try to discover the author of Hebrews or tell you who wrote it, they should repent and always know, always proclaim, God wrote it! He is the Author of this fifty-eighth book of the Bible: just like every other book…
Selah
and amen!
Every one of us should be humble enough to accept the fact that God did not tell us the person He breathed the book of Hebrews through.
He didn’t tell us: therefore, we do not know nor do we need to!
Selah!
1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
