SATAN LOVES THAT! Of course.
Selah.
With every Jewish holy day, every Christian holy day, and every man-made holiday which may truly bless a person, Satan always has his same ancient, evil agenda. He loves to twist, to dement, and to scourge celebratory holidays, because this is his nature:
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
I chose one of the biblical definitions (the only ones that count!) of ‘kill’ It is ‘slaughter!’ I utilize this definition over ‘kill’ because it is so graphic: we need to discern God’s warnings with sharp tenacity. Very key.
Selah.
And then there is the other side of the coin regarding Satan’s attempt to slaughter us all: Jesus Christ, Himself crucified, dead, resurrected and sitting at His Father’s right hand!
Our great God warns us in this particular Scripture why Satan comes. Then: the answer! First the attack: then the answer that allows us to receive peace, victory, and joy unspeakable and full of glory!
Selah!
Jesus came to give us life; and not only life, but life to the full!
Let’s pause here if you don’t have it…
Take it!
Dear God,
I surrender to you now, right now. I am done in trying to invent a working lifestyle without you. I humble myself and call out to You. I’m done with lying, with pretending, and explaining away ungodliness…
Romans 1:18-21
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
God in Heaven,
I come to You in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus. I have sinned. I now believe and know that Jesus is fully God, fully Man. He lived a sinless life and took all of my sickness and infirmities in His body. He died on the cross for my sins. I believe and know that He was raised from the dead so I might be saved from Hell and have eternal life in Your Kingdom with you forevermore.
Jesus, I ask you to be my only Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins and wash them away with Your holy blood; never to be remembered again. Please take my sickness or any health issue I have by the stripes You endured for all mankind…
I will now strive to live my life for You to my best ability and with the help of You, Holy Spirit, I strive to seek You, study You and worship You all the days of my life, which are forever, amen!
I denounce Satan and his kingdom now and forevermore!
I also ask to be baptized in You, Holy Spirit, with the evidence of this by praying in other tongues, my heavenly language.
(To receive your heavenly language – take it by faith – just as you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Simply start speaking syllables – do not say anything in your known language/s. It WILL come – just believe. Satan will tell you it is false – never listen to the father of lies. Pray in tongues every day!)
Thank You, God, for forgiving me, cleansing me, healing me in every way, staying with me and praying with me.
In Jesus name, I pray this, amen.
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS:
Romans 3:21-26
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Philippians 2:12-13
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Romans 10:9-10
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
1 Corinthians 14:2
For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED! You must continue your relationship as a child of God!
Live this way:
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Hebrews 3:14
We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.
Revelation 3:5
He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
NOW, MOVING RIGHT ALONG: let’s talk about just how Satan wants a tribute to Father’s Day to cause a lot of pain. I’m actually going to tell you some things about my own father. You haven’t heard much about him. I miss him! And that is good news! Especially when you consider how little I knew him!
NOTE: When you are wistful: (a perfect word in this case for me) it is a good thing to be sad. Missing a person who has died is normal; it is also godly… The harder thing is, if you don’t know where he is.
In this case you can only hope. Dare not pray! He is where he is and there is no talking to the dead!
My father never taught me much of anything. I was so little when he got sick, I barely knew his personality, his character…
Selah.
My father, mother, brothers and I moved from Saint Paul (a very good name!) to South Saint Paul where I was entering the first grade. I can’t be sure, but it seemed like mere months later my dad had symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. A nightmare started engulfing our home. It stayed.
I hated to move, I hated the new house: and I hated that my dad soon forth became in such a state. I also hated how his curse of Multiple Sclerosis affected our entire family… That, I’m not going into right now. I want to impress upon you about holidays having an opening for Satan to bring on miseries. Even Resurrection Day and Christmas!
That is, beloved, if you let that deceiver do so! Don’t!!
Father’s Day: to my mind not once did we celebrate Father’s Day. Sad. Nor Mother’s Day. Sad as well. My father became so unstable physically and mentally, I began to feel as if I never had a dad. At my young age, I came to think of him more like (but I knew he was Dad) a mentally handicapped brother. Remember I was barely in first grade when he had to stop working. Back then most all mothers stayed home. In grade school we children would walk home for lunch (Yes! In Minnesota!) I’d walk past my home, to a neighbor’s with one of my brothers, to go there for lunch. It hurt to know my dad was home, my mother was working, and he couldn’t feed both of us lunch. It was one of my biggest heartaches. Rightfully so!
Now that I’m seventy, and many years before that, I learned about the curse of diseases… It didn’t have to be that way.
Selah.
NOTE: Check out the Scriptures regarding healing at the end of this article.
But with the childhood I grew up in, I was barely cognizant of who my father was.
THIS IS WHAT I DO REMEMBER: my dad used to cook. He made the very best stuffing for Thanksgiving that I’ve ever had! He’d give me samples! The turkey would bake overnight and all day long I’d smell it! This was one of my very favorite memories of Thanksgiving Day! (Sadly, I don’t remember a prayer or ever being taught about God. Not surprising, considering that lack of victory we all had…)
I remember he would give me a back rub when I was little. He would tell me that I looked like I had blush on my cheeks! I cherished those both! I loved my dad! Still do!
Back in the day when I was about four, I remember just he and I (don’t know why) carved a pumpkin down in the basement. It was great fun!
NOTE: I must make this true statement, Halloween is an evil, satanic celebration. I know that now. Fun sometimes is evil and can usher in curses
If you don’t believe me, check out some books former satanists have written such as: John Ramirez, Out of the Devil’s Cauldron.
Selah.
There was a time we went sledding (again, just Dad and me.) Maybe my three brothers were in school. As we went to leave, he had to get some cat litter out of the trunk to get the car wheels out of the snow they were stuck in. I remember he had a white car. I loved it!
I’m sure I could give you some more memories of Cliff Schacher. But I want to make my point now. Sure, I could be bitter with the fact that I barely knew my father, don’t remember kisses and hugs, don’t remember him telling me he loved me. I remember most how much he suffered, how much I hated it, and how I got this horrendous fear of choking because of this curse. After a period of the curse of Multiple Sclerosis, he would violently choke on food so much, so very many times. As a little girl I would run and hide until the death-threatening sounds subsided…
My father was not capable to raise me and my brothers by the time I was six or seven (they, being two, four, and six years older.) However, for the short years I had known him before he lived with that satanic curse, he was my dad who worked, mowed the lawn, shoveled snow, and even cooked way back then; and I loved him!
So you see, Satan would have me shake my fists at God (never would I do that, upon pain of death!) He would want me full of self-pity, with a “Poor me!!” mantra. Perhaps he would want me to hate my father who could have believed God like the leper in Matthew, chapter eight. Whatever the case, I know God will heal those who believe. I know God did love my dad and it was not His will that my dad nor any of his family be cursed.
Selah.
God allows (with His permissive will) us to choose to believe and act on that belief.
So, I think about my dad, my estranged family; in fact, I think about all people outside God’s covenant and thank God, His is ever holy, holy, holy. He is willing!
Selah.
I miss my father. I dare not talk to the dead. I am wise. I simply ask my Father in Heaven to tell my dad (if he is in Heaven) that I love him… And that I look forward with great, great joy to see him there!
Amen and amen!
Selah.
This Father’s Day choose the joy of the LORD and never put your father, no matter how wonderful, above God! And if he is godless like Esau; don’t blame God! Don’t you dare!!
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
HEALING SCRIPTURES FOR THIS JOY STORY:
Psalm 103:1-5
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered
him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Matthew 8:16

Luke 9:1-6
When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt. Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosper.
1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
YOUR FATHER WOULD WANT YOU IN HEAVEN…
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
